One of the most popular indoor & outdoor concert of all time, 360EventCenter Sound in NSW has won the hearts of so many rock fans from all over the Australia. But how is the best sound for a musical event created each time?
One of the first things that gets nailed down is the quality sound check. Secondly, you are on fire after starting the performance.
Curation of sound and set times take months to plan and develop. There is a lot of back and forth between artists and sound engineers about preferences and perfection.
Time to Prep
There are usually 3 types of sound system, outdoor touring sound, indoor sound and small performance. Once artists and event requirements are locked in, sound design can start planning as per stage, lighting and equipment as appropriate for each artist and event.
Most main outdoor sound and stage acts take 6 months or more to plan, depending on the level of theatrics and sophistication.
Professional grade equipment and power systems are flown in from all over Australia to prepare for the Event

With all the prep work on sound, we can’t forget about backline, lighting, In-Ear Monitor (IEM), food and beverage for the event.
A team of 20 festival planners coordinate with food and drink vendors to keep variety high and costs low.
The festival grounds are architected to account for the food stalls, rest areas, VIP areas, and of course restrooms.
After a full year of planning, rock fans get to enjoy a 3-day festival of a lifetime.
